EMA – How to Not Take Things Personally

March 22, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 8:15 pm

$15.00

Even When You’re Convinced It’s Personal

In this Satsang*, Howard E. Richmond, M.D. begins by showing us – with storytelling and humor – how it is possible, and in our best interest, to not take things personally, especially when things feel so personal.

Dr. H and his Transformational Sound Healers will then lead us with live music in a sound healing experience that gently deepens the power of the work of EMA (i.e., identifying hidden emotions and loosening the “knots” of judgment that keep things personal) through music, guided imagery and meditation.

Discover the highest truth about emotions, reality and perception. Experience what it’s like to get an “emotional tune-up” and release unwanted tension in body and mind where emotions and negative beliefs accumulate.

After the guided imagery, some participants may want to volunteer and share a “story” or challenge with Dr. H in order to practice using these tools to release energy-draining judgments and emotions that otherwise keep us stuck, and keep things personal. Whether sharing or just observing this process unfold, you will gain valuable insights.

Improve the quality of your relationships, increase your capacity to be more fully present and bring more joy into your life. Like martial arts, this skill set needs to be practiced again and again so it becomes reflexive and automatic. Learn with a black belt and receive the gift of waging inner peace.

Please bring a mat, pillow or blanket to ensure your comfort lying on the floor. Chairs are available if preferred.
