Did you know that if one “C” tuning fork is struck and placed next to another “C” tuning fork, the first tuning fork passes some of its energy to the second tuning fork and the second tuning fork will begin to resonate together with the first one.
The composer Paul Hindemith said “People who make music together cannot be enemies, at least while the music lasts!” Why is that? Because singing, drumming, chanting, the tone of a well-modulated voice or a harmonious musical sound will cause two or more people to “lock in” and pulse at exactly the same rate. Powerful rhythmic vibrations will overcome less powerful vibrations and the two vibrations will become one. The resultant state is one of harmony and peace.
How about one more interesting note on vibration and harmony? Imagine a room full of grandfather clocks with pendulums swinging at different rates. In just a few hours, all the pendulums will be swinging in harmony – all at the same speed.
Can you see how awareness of this information could do wonders for your relationships? Healing words, soothing tones, intention and loving rhythms all lend themselves to waging inner and outer peace. If all the pendulums in your work life, or in your family life, or in your thoughts and beliefs were swinging in harmony … how would that be?
Now let’s talk about the sound healing energies present when Dr. H and the Transformational Sound Healers are in service to people in the room (and on recordings). Dr. H plays his 12-string guitar for thirty minutes or more while gently guiding a meditation with his beautiful voice. Harps, chimes, bells and singers add texture and warmth. Our vibrations become attuned and, as we embrace a new awareness of self and others, we invite more joy into our lives. Truly, life is good.
The cells of our body enjoy the vibration of sound. Our emotions are receptive and open in the vibration of sound. Emotional healing is so possible in the vibration of sound.
